Who we are
Tailgate Office, LLC runs this texting program, its texts to its own subscribers about their accounts, and sends every text in it, as the SMS terms describe. This page covers the program; our privacy policy covers everything else.
What is kept
- Your mobile number, as you gave it on our sign-up form or your Account page, and the texts sent to it and received from it in this program.
- The record of your consent: the number, the exact words of the box you ticked and their version, the links beside it, the page you ticked it on (our sign-up form or your Account page), the time, your device’s internet address, the login it belongs to, and when the code was sent and confirmed (while our spam check holds a sign-up for a person to look at, the number, the version of the words, the time and the internet address wait in a note on that sign-up until its account is set up).
- If you replied STOP or START: that you did, and when.
How it is used
Only to send the texts the SMS terms describe, to answer you, and to keep a record of what you agreed to or stopped.
Sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Mobile numbers and texting consent are never shared with or sold to anyone for their marketing. Your number and messages pass through the mobile carriers and Telnyx, our texting provider, the company that delivers the texts for us, only so the texts can be delivered.
How long it is kept
Your number stays on your account until you untick the box or clear the number on your Account page, or ask us to delete it. The texts sent and received are kept with your account’s records until you ask us to delete them, as our privacy policy’s “Access, correction, deletion” section says.
Each consent and each opt-out is recorded and kept for five years after the last event (the consent, the last text to that number, a STOP or a START), even if the rest of the details are deleted, because it is the proof that your choice was respected.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any of our texts to stop them, or untick the box or clear the number on your Account page. To see what we hold about your number, or to ask us to delete it, email support@tailgateoffice.com or use our contact page, https://www.tailgateoffice.com/contact/. The record of your consent or your STOP is kept as described above.
