One plan, everything. About what a month of Indeed costs, and it answers the phone.
Prices are per business, not per user. Add your foreman, your dispatcher and your spouse to the account at no extra cost.
The Tailgate Office Bundle
All four tools and the whole office
30 days free · no card required · the trial has everything
Only need one of the tools? After the trial you can keep NapkinPrice alone at $99, CallMitt at $49, CrewFunnel at $69 or HurraBell at $49, or any two or three at the sum, from your Billing page or by opening "Pick just those" on the sign-up form; the office comes with the full Bundle.
Bought separately the four tools come to $266. The bundle is $199, so the fourth tool is free and you are $18 below the other three you would have bought anyway. Want two or three? Tick them when you sign up and you pay their prices added together, never more than $199.
The office comes with the Bundle only: customers, jobs, the Work page, estimates, invoices, reminders, the reviews badge, suggested replies, the calendar feed and postcards. A free trial has everything the Bundle has for 30 days, so you can see it before you pick your tools. The office, page by page.
NapkinPrice and the Bundle: optional done-for-you install by Data Processing, LLC (opens in a new tab), $125 once, billed by them. Right now it is free for the first 100 NapkinPrice customers to claim it by March 14, 2027.
Two ways to pay less than the sticker
Pay for the year, get two months free
Prepay 12 months and you pay for 10. The bundle drops from $2,388 to $1,990 a year — that is $166 a month. NapkinPrice is $990, CallMitt $490, CrewFunnel $690, HurraBell $490.
Annual prepay is invoiced today and moves to card or ACH the moment our payment processor is connected. If you cancel mid-year we refund the unused months, prorated at the monthly rate. No one should be trapped by a discount.
Slow season? Pause it, do not kill it
Seal-coaters, pool guys, snow crews — you do not need a front office in February. Hit Pause on your Billing page for up to four months a calendar year, free. You keep your number, your quote pricing, your message history and your entire applicant pool. Un-pause the week the phone starts ringing again.
For reference, ResponsiBid charges roughly $50 a month to hold a seasonal account. We charge nothing, because holding a database row costs us nothing.
What is in the Bundle, line by line
No asterisks, no “contact sales for this row.”

The office
Everything else
“Unlimited team logins” means people, not businesses. One subscription covers one business, one website and one main phone number.
Software pricing is confusing. Jobs are not.
Nobody in this trade thinks in dollars per user per month. You think in jobs. So here is the whole pricing page in the only unit that matters.
The break-even is not close. That is the point of pricing it here instead of at $499.
Run your own numbersThings other people charge you for that we do not
The number on this page is the number on the invoice. Every month.
Setup and onboarding
No implementation fee, no mandatory kickoff call, no “success package.” ResponsiBid customers report $400 to $600 before the first quote goes out. You will spend about 30 minutes and $0.
Support
Email and phone, included on every plan including the $49 one. We do not sell a priority tier — the queue is the queue and it is short.
Updates and new features
When we ship something new it turns on in your account. No version upgrades, no add-on modules, no re-quote.
Extra users
Add your office manager, your lead installer, your business partner. Per-seat pricing punishes you for growing a crew, which is a strange thing to do to a contractor.
Cancelling
No cancellation fee, no exit interview, no 30-day written notice. There is a button in the dashboard. It works on the first click.
Normal message volume
Text-backs, quote alerts, review requests and applicant conversations at ordinary contractor volume are included. The carriers’ own A2P 10DLC registration and number fees are not ours to waive: those are yours, at cost, and the FAQ below says what they come to.
Contracts
Month to month, always. If we stop earning the $199 you should be able to leave the same afternoon.
A cut of your jobs
No per-lead fee, no revenue share, no commission on work the system finds you. Your jobs are your jobs.
One honest exception: if you send genuinely enormous message volume — tens of thousands of texts a month, which no single-location contractor has ever done — we will call you and work out a fair number before anything changes. We will never surprise you on an invoice.
Pricing questions, answered before you ask
More of them on the full FAQ page.
No. Every plan is month to month. There is no term, no auto-renewing 12-month agreement, and no notice period. Podium is typically sold on an annual contract and Team Engine is quoted as an annual agreement; if you have ever tried to leave one mid-term you already know why we do not do that. Prepay a year if you want the two free months — that is invoiced today — and even then we refund the unused months if you leave.
Nothing automatic, because we never took a card. And the trial extends itself first: if your carrier registration is still pending near the end, or you have not had a real quote or call yet, you get more time and your dashboard says why. About five days before the end you get an email from us with the end date, and a person gets in touch as well; one more email goes out on the last day. If you want to keep going, you press Activate on your Billing page and we set up billing (by invoice today, by card once our processor is connected). If you do nothing, the account goes read-only — the widget stops quoting and the text-back stops queuing, but nothing is deleted.
Your pricing rules, message history and applicant pool sit there for 90 days in case you come back. No one from sales will call you six times about it.
Yes. Nothing has charged you yet — billing is by invoice until our payment processor is connected. Once it is live: if you get charged for a month you did not mean to use, email support within 30 days of the charge and we refund it in full. No form, no reason required, no retention script.
Annual prepays are refunded for whole unused months at the regular monthly rate. We would rather give the money back than have you tell the guys at the supply house that we kept it.
You keep the one you have, and the text-back gets one of its own. Your existing business number stays exactly where it is with your existing carrier and keeps ringing as it does now — nothing is ported. CallMitt replies from your own texting number: a local number in your area code, registered to your business once your carrier registration is approved. Nothing has been filed for anyone yet; it is filed when texting goes live. US carriers do not let texting software send from a number on a mobile plan, which is what most contractors run the business on, so the caller dials one number and hears back from another. It works because the text opens with your business name and thanks them for calling.
What the texting number costs is the carriers’ fee, at cost, and the next answer spells it out. If you would rather run a separate tracking number for a specific ad campaign, we will set one up once numbers are live, and it carries the carrier’s monthly fee too. Either way the number is registered to your business, and if you leave you can take it with you to the carrier you choose.
One kind, and it is the carriers’, not ours. Every US carrier makes a business register before it texts, and charges for it: about $20 once for the brand and campaign registration and under $3 a month for your texting number and campaign, at the carriers’ September 2026 rates, plus sales tax where it applies. Those fees are yours. You pay them at cost, with your own payment method, when your registration is filed; we file it, we add nothing to it, and Tailgate Office™ has no setup fee of its own. The texts themselves — text-backs, quote alerts, applicant conversations and reminders — are covered by your plan at contractor volume.
Two footnotes. If the carriers reject a filing, their vetting fee is charged again when it is resubmitted, which is why the form checks your business details before anything goes in. And the one caveat from the honesty list above: if you started blasting tens of thousands of marketing messages a month we would have to talk about it first. Normal missed-call and quote traffic is nowhere near that. More detail on the compliance page.
A subscription covers one business: one website widget, one main business number, one applicant pool, unlimited people logging in. If your second location has its own phone number, its own crew and its own pricing, that is a second subscription.
If it is really one operation with two yards and one phone line, it is one subscription. If you are somewhere in between, or you are running four or more locations, call us at (301) 268-1943 and we will quote it fairly rather than making you guess from a table.
No. Hit Pause on your Billing page for up to four months a calendar year at no charge. Quoting and text-back stop, billing stops, and everything you configured stays intact — number, pricing rules, message history, applicant pool.
Un-pause with one click when the season turns. This is deliberately better than the roughly $50 a month ResponsiBid charges to hold a seasonal account, because charging a snow guy in July for a product he is not using is not a business model we want to defend.
Nothing but your attention for half an hour. Run us in parallel for the 30-day trial — your old system keeps doing its thing while ours sits on the same website and leaves your business number alone. Send us your current price book in whatever form it exists (spreadsheet, screenshots, a photo of a clipboard) and we will load your pricing rules for you at no charge.
Then cancel the other one at the end of your term. We do not need you to burn a bridge before you have seen ours hold weight. See the honest comparison, including the cases where you should stay put.
Yes. Everyone starts with everything: the free trial has all four tools and the office. At the end you keep the Tailgate Office Bundle at $199, or say which tool you want on its own at its own price (NapkinPrice $99, CallMitt $49, CrewFunnel $69, HurraBell $49). Tick another tool on your Billing page any time and you pay the prices added together; once they add up to $199 you are on the Bundle, with all four and the office. The change takes effect immediately and we settle the difference on your next invoice. You never pay twice for the same days.
Billing is by invoice today. The trial takes no card and there is no payment processor connected: when you activate, a person sends you an invoice for the month, payable by check or ACH with no fee, and nothing is ever charged to a card automatically. If card billing is connected one day, this is how it would work.
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover and ACH from a business checking account. Billing runs on the same calendar day each month, and the receipt lands in your email with a plain-language line item, not a code. Annual prepay can also be paid by check if your bookkeeper prefers it — call and we will send an invoice.
Annual prepay is two months free, on every plan. Beyond that we do not run a maze of discount codes — the price is already set where a one-truck operation can carry it. If you are a franchise group or a trade association bringing more than ten businesses, email support@tailgateoffice.com and we will set up a group rate.
If we ever raise the list price, existing accounts keep the rate they signed up at for at least 12 months and we tell you in writing 60 days before anything changes. New features do not trigger a new tier — they turn on in the plan you already have. Anything else would make the “no contract” promise meaningless.
